The family would especially like to thank Canon Conroy and parish staff and musicians of St Patricks Church, Dumbarton, for a beautiful and touching Requiem Mass; Emma Williamson and associates of John Kane Funeral Directors for providing much valued support and guidance; and James McGroarty and staff of the Abbotsford Hotel for hosting the funeral reception and providing a warm welcome to guests and family alike. The Niven family would also like to thank all Joseph's friends and relatives who attended the funeral and to those who sent kind messages of condolence, including Mass cards and floral tributes.
